Valuesec Use Cases

The developed VALUESEC toolset will finally be demonstrated in realistic use cases, and its applicability and performance evaluated. These applications will be in the areas of public and public-private relevance.

Strong involvement of committed end-user team members and external stakeholders will be organized. A typical use case will include the risk scenario, the envisaged security measures and/or investments, alternative bundles of measures including their probabilities when defined, and the process of evaluating the decision(s). The typical experiments will be selected also on the quality and availability of input data like statistics on the type of incident, vulnerabilities, expected damages and related risks, and the data on behavioral perceptions and reactions of society.
